One of these was realized through the signing of a cooperation agreement (PKS) between bank bjb and MSME actors in Pangandaran area, Regional Government of Pangandaran Regency, and KADIN of Pangandaran Regency.
The signing of PKS was held in Parigi District, Pangandaran Regency, Thursday, September 2, 2021. An agreement was signed between bank bjb Pangandaran Branch and PT Joglo Semar Karangsari Makmur. The collaboration is related to the MSME credit development program through a partnership scheme. As a partner, bank bjb provides support by ensuring market availability or off-takers for products made by MSMEs in Pangandaran.
The program is in collaboration with the Regional Government of Pangandaran Regency and Kadin of Pangandaran Regency. In this program, 150 hectares of land are prepared for the development of porang cultivation. Meanwhile, PT Joglo Semar Karangsari Makmur functions as an off-taker who is committed to assisting porang farmers to purchase their crops. With this partnership pattern, bank bjb is present not only as a guarantee for the availability of business capital, but also helps ensure the business continuity of MSME actors so that they are always productive and gain their profit.
On this occasion, Pangandaran Regent Jeje Wiradinata expressed his gratitude regarding the established cooperation. He hopes that this event can bring benefits to all parties involved and prosper the community.
"This activity is one of the efforts in an effort to increase financial turnover among farmers, so that the hopes of prosperous farmers can be realized in Pangandaran Regency," said Jeje. Meanwhile, Chairman of the Pangandaran Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Yayan Sugiantoro, stated that the challenges faced by farmers today are product marketing and the availability of capital. Through this collaboration, it is expected that these two problems can be resolved.

She said the cooperation scheme offered by bank bjb might help MSME players to continue to grow sustainably. “Financing through this partnership scheme provides broad benefits for the sustainability of a business. For example, stable prices of goods, continuity of supply and quality of goods that are maintained, improving farmers' welfare, opening up financial access, and accessing wider market access for crops," she said.
It is expected that the cooperation between bank bjb, MSMEs in the Pangandaran Regency area, off-takers, the Pangandaran Regional Government to the Pangandaran Chamber of Commerce and Industry can continue to be established and promote each other.
