BANDUNG – bank bjb is repeatedly hold a training for micro, small and medium enterprises (UMKM) through Friday Business Online Talk agenda which is regularly held every week. The training which is part of Community Economic Empowerment program (PESAT) from bank bjb MSME Division was held on Friday (14/8/2020), via ZOOM Cloud Meetings application.
The webinar was held for MSMEs in the Greater Jakarta and Banten areas. With the theme "Trademark Attracts, Sales Number Increase", this webinar tries to provide information on branding strategies and product trademark management so that it can gain attention and be widely recognized by the public.
Like previous webinars, this online seminar material is delivered by experienced professionals who have a classy reputation in their fields. The trademark management material in this webinar was delivered by Owner Janda Coach Haris. Coach Haris is also known as the Founder of SOBAT Institute, Certified Trainer of National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP), and 2017 bjb MSME Champion.
Head of Corporate Secretary Division bank bjb Widi Hartoto said this training was implemented as a form of bank bjb's concern for MSME players. Increasing the knowledge capacity of business actors is considered important, especially in facing new business horizons which have undergone a number of shifts as a result of COVID-19 pandemic situation.
"COVID-19 pandemic outbreak gave such an impact on business world at various levels and sectors. Therefore, there are needs to renew the paradigm and strategy in facing business horizons, especially during new habits adaptation period (AKB) so that more optimal results can be obtained," said Widi.
In the training, Coach Haris explained the important role of inner trademark which serves to shape the value, positive image of the product or business that is built. Trademarks also serve as a basic communication tool so that products can be recognized by consumers.
Coach Haris also shared various tips so that MSME product trademarks can be widely recognized. These tips are shared based on his exeperience in building brands, especially Mie Janda, which is currently a favorite. Haris's Janda Noodle became one of th culinary products that had gone viral, so that it was hunted by buyers, received reviews from food vloggers, and was even covered by various well-known media.
The success of Coach Haris in building his business is expected to inspire MSME trainees to follow his footsteps. This webinar is also expected to build or strengthen awareness of the importance of building a trademark for MSME players. In more general context, this training provides new knowledge that can be used as a consideration for implementing business strategies according to the capacities and needs of MSMEs.
